We made sure that every part of our packaging - from the mailers to the shipping label, and everything in between - is fully recyclable or compostable so that customers can order with confidence. As a direct-to-consumer brand, our sustainable mindset must be present from design to delivery. With our outer mailers alone, it is estimated we will annualy save 546 lbs of CO2 Eq in greenhouse gas and 584.43 gallons of water.*
Outer Mailer: Our thick, gusseted paper mailers are made in the USA out of 100% recycled content. Our graphic design is printed with water-based ink (an alternative to petroleum-based inks), and these mailers are 100% recyclable, biodegradable & compostable.
Inner Protective Sleeve: Our protective apparel bags are made from 100% recycled content and manufactured in the USA. These are also recyclable after use.
Shipping Label: Yes, even the stickers are curbside recyclable! These specially-sourced shipping labels are made out of 100% recycled content and are used in our direct thermal printer (digital heating process - no ink used). The release liners are also recyclable, meaning there is zero waste from this material.
Tissue Paper: Composed of FSC certified and acid-free paper, our air-brushed design was printed with soy-based ink made from soybeans. Tissue paper is recyclable or compostable.
Insert Card: Our double-sided cards are made from FSC certified, recycled paper content. These are recyclable or compostable, as well!
Fabric Care Card (Knit Fabrics): We chose even smaller mini cards for this special info and kept them in a matte finish so that these could be recycled.
Brand Stickers: Our matte-finished paper stickers are also from FSC certified, acid-free paper products. Soy-based ink is used, so you don't have to worry about leaving behind petroleum products as it decomposes.
Brand Tape: Last but not least, our tape is water-activated, which allows printing to be done on this non-glossy/wax-coated paper. As gloss and wax are not biodegradable or compostable, water-activated paper tape makes it possible to package even more sustainably.
